The aim of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to raise funds for worthy causes within the school. The group meets once a half term and new members are always welcome.

Our Parent Forum meets once a term and aims to share ideas from our parents and families to improve our school.

Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Parent Forum will be 27th January (4.00pm – 5.00pm). During this meeting we will be discussing the current rewards system with Mrs C Smith. This meeting was rescheduled due to Forum Member availability at the end of last term. As always, new members are welcome to join.

We are pleased to announce that, on 12th December 2025, we successfully completed our Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) application process and will now hold the award for 3 years.

The LPPA reflects our commitment to working with our extended Sharples family and wider community to continue to support our students and ensure we are meeting their needs.

Our Award Verifier, Emma Symonds, noted that our commitment to parent partnership was underpinned by clear planning and continuous review, that our school’s particular strengths are ‘Transition’, our ‘culture of shared success’ and the ‘breadth of opportunities available beyond the classroom’.

We are very proud of our accomplishment and look forward to continuing to strengthen the relationships between school, students and families over the coming years.
