On Friday 6th July, 26 of our Graphics and Engineering pupils visited the New Designers Exhibition (in London) to see the work being produced by university design graduates all over the country. Pupils had the opportunity to not only view the graduates’ designs and portfolios, but discuss with them how their concepts originated and developed.
The showcase included works from a number design disciplines including product, interior, multimedia, graphic design and engineering. The exhibition gave pupils the chance to see where design based subjects could lead them after school life, as well as provide them with some unique ideas to inspire their own GCSE work.
Well done to all pupils who were excellent ambassadors for Sharples School throughout the entire visit.
