Last Friday, Our Year 11 students were able to participate in the UK University & Apprenticeship Virtual Fair where they were able to research information about different Universities or Apprenticeships that they may be interested in. This gave our students a brilliant opportunity to think about Higher Education and what aspirations they may have. Our students were able to speak to their teachers and even use the ‘chat’ function for universities to ask about any questions they may have. Pupils responded very positively, and showed great motivation towards their future. They were finding out what the entry requirements are for certain courses or apprenticeships and what they will do to achieve them. One of our Year 11 students stated “It provided an insight on the University environment whilst also developing an understanding on Higher Education and what options are available to me”.
