This week saw the start of Sharples School and Times Tables Rockstars “Battle of the Bands”. All the maths classes in Year 7 and 8 are competing against each other over seven days to see who can achieve the highest number of correct answers per pupil. There will be prizes for the top classes in Year 7 and 8. The students with the highest score in each class will also receive prizes. The early leaders in Year 7 are Mrs Moosa’s class, in Year 8 Mr Ryder’s class have taken the advantage. Special mentions go to Corey (Year 7), Ethan (Year 7), Sherjeel (Year 8) and Tyler (Year 8) who stormed to the top of the leaderboard as soon as the competition started on Wednesday morning.
