Spring Clean

By 29 March 2019June 2nd, 2021No Comments

Parents, staff and students are being asked to have a bit of a ‘Spring Clean’ and donate old clothes to help fund school trips. Members of our Student Affairs Committee have organised a clothing collection that will help to pay for future trips and events for all students.

Roberts Recycling, a North-West company that takes old clothes and sells them to help raise money for various charities, will pay for good, wearable clothes and help students at Sharples take part in extra-curricular and enrichment activities.

A full list of clothes they can and cannot accept are available on their website https://www.robertsrecycling.co.uk/ and all donations can be brought to school to be placed in our clothing box. Have a look in your wardrobes for any old jumpers, football shirts that don’t fit or trainers that you’ve grown out of and we can turn them into new experiences for our students.

Bags can be left with Mr Hesford in M1 or placed in the donation box in the theatre. We hope that you can help our school and give yourself an excuse to update your wardrobe!
