Year 10 travelled to Bolton School on Monday in the quarter final of the Bolton cup. It was the team’s first game since the winter break and Sharples looked rusty and conceded some sloppy goals on the first half, including two penalties. Sharples never gave up and competed better in the second half but cup don’t avoid crashing out the cup. Man of the match was Jack Harrison who impressed in the heart of the defence.
The following day Year 7 travelled to Rivington and struggled to keep up with the cup favourites. Despite the best efforts of Will Scarborough, the team couldn’t avoid suffering a heavy defeat.
