Year 7 student Aidan Bhaloda will be under the shining star spotlight this week, Aidan has been demonstrating his incredible flexibility during fitness sessions in PE recently. His superb range of movement has been developed through years of hard work and training in kickboxing and Taekwondo. Aidan trains 4 times per week at Bolton Dragons BTS and his hard work has enabled him to progress to the highest level, competing in National and International competitions. Aidan has done more than just hold his own in these elite contests, winning a bronze medal at the National GB Taekwondo Championship and Silver at the Welsh Open.

Aidan’s success in the sport has brought about some amazing experiences and he has been fortunate enough to travel around the UK and even Europe to compete against the best competitors in his field. Unfortunately, Aidan’s training schedule has been disrupted by Covid but he is now looking forward to resuming training on a regular basis and preparing for the 2021 GB Nationals and aspires to make the GB National team one day in the future. Aidan states that he has a real passion for Martial Arts and all aspects of fitness training and believes it teaches him resilience and self discipline, which is fantastic as both these qualities will help him achieve outside of his sporting environment.
