A big well done to our Year 9/10 rounders team who faced Thornleigh on Thursday afternoon. After a tough first innings, the girls settled and produced some excellent batting in the second innings. Even with some brilliant bowling from Grace G, the team fell short of the win, losing 101-77.
There was also a valiant effort from the Year 7/8 team. As it was a friendly, the boys who have been attending the rounders lunchtime club were also able to play! There was a stand out performance from Amaan B who kept the fielders on their toes whilst stepping up to bat! A brilliant game but the team fell just short of the win, losing 101-83.
