This week, two Year 11 students visited the Turton Rotary Club to give thanks for their sponsorship of the Rotary Youth Leadership Award. In July, Destiny and Saaemah travelled to Pettypool (in Cheshire) to spend 6 days developing skills including planning, teamwork and organisation as they worked with young people from across the north west to build a mini adventure playground.
The girls gave a short presentation to the members of the club and presented the President with an honorary Learn Dream Achieve badge on behalf on Sharples School. Thanks again to Turton Rotary for sponsoring this opportunity for our students.
