This week the English Department have set the community challenge, to read aloud ahead of World Read Aloud Day (Wednesday 3rd February 2021) #WRAD.
For World Read Aloud Day people from all over the world will be sharing their readings on social media. Our challenge to you, is for you to send a video of you reading a passage from one of your favourite books. The videos will be edited into a Sharples Read Aloud Video and shared on our school Twitter Page with #WRAD.
To help you, the English Team have created a video of ‘Top Tips for Reading Aloud,’ which you will find on the school Twitter page. Their full readings will be added to the school website, each day this week.
