Ms Webster’s End of Term Letter (Details for Last Day)

By 11 December 2019June 2nd, 2021No Comments

Dear Parent/Carer

Friday, 20 December is a non-uniform day for pupils with a £1 donation to a school charity.

Pupils will be dismissed from school at approximately 12.45pm.  Please note that the school buses will be available at this earlier time.

School meals will be available for all pupils, including those on free school meals, and these may be purchased at morning break when there will be an extended menu on offer in the canteen.

Please inform your child’s form tutor if it is impossible for your child to come home at the time stated above and arrangements will be made to supervise him/her until 3.05pm.

This has been a very successful term at Sharples, our students have worked hard and engaged with a wide range of learning opportunities both within and beyond the classroom.  We have also celebrated another set of great GCSE results with our Progress 8 score of +0.52, placing us in the top 500 schools in the country.

I hope all our students enjoy a well-deserved rest during the holidays and come back for the new term energised and ready to learn, dream and achieve.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy Christmas and a peaceful new year and I look forward to seeing all pupils back at school on Monday, 6 January 2020 in full school uniform for a prompt start at 8.45am.

Yours faithfully
