Last week, Miss Dann took a group of Year 8 pupils to watch a performance of Macbeth at the North West Theatre Arts Company. It was a modern, gritty interpretation allowing our students to watch the play they have studied this term and grasp the key ideas of the play quickly. Students were then able to take part in a question and answer session where they discussed how the actors juggled college and university life alongside their acting. Performing the key scenes themselves in a workshop, the pupils had a brilliant time engaging with the performers and the play.
