A big well done to our Year 7 and Year 8 netball team who travelled to King’s Leadership Academy on Tuesday. Although the Year 7s narrowly missed out on the win, they showcased some brilliant netball working it through the centre court well. It has been fantastic to see the Year 7s improve since the start of September, when some of them had never played netball before! They have committed to training every week and have developed into a strong, competitive team! This was the final game of the year for both teams and the Year 8s saved some of their best netball to last. They managed a convincing win against a resilient King’s side. The attacking players worked it brilliantly around the circle edge to ensure they had the best shooting opportunities and the defence was on top form making some fantastic interceptions. Well done, girls!
