Hola from Barcelona 2017!

During February half term, 58 Year 11 students travelled to Barcelona for a study tour of the Catalonian city.
Each morning a revision session was delivered by Miss Molyneux covering English, Maths and Science and this was followed by a swim in the hotel pool and a cultural visit in the city itself.

The group sat in the seats at the Nou Camp Stadium, faced the sharks at the largest Aquarium in Europe and ascended the towers of the Sagrada Familia Basilica.
The evenings were just as busy spent visiting the Hard Rock Cafe, the horror house 13 Rooms and, on the final night, the group donned their masks for the Sharples’ Barcelona Masquerade Ball 2017 at the “House of Illusion”.

The trip was a huge success and the students have returned to school this week ready to face the final push towards their GCSEs.

A huge thank you to Mr Perman, Mrs Harrison, Miss Moss, Mrs Kaminska, Miss Killey, Mr McClelland and Miss Molyneux for giving up their time to organise and accompany our pupils on the trip.
