Girls Football Report

By 23 January 2018June 2nd, 2021No Comments

Last Thursday night, the girls started their football season off with their first match against Canon Slade. This was a tough draw for the first game and we knew it. Unfortunately. it also showed during the games. They had a slick attacking formation in both the KS3 and KS4 squad that we found hard to defend. Despite this, we played our best. The player of the KS3 game was Leah Winstanley who tried her best in defence and showed great flare on the ball at times. That game finished 4-1 to Canon. The ‘Player of the Match’ for KS4 was Milli Knowles who worked hard in both attack and defence. This game finished 6-2. For a first match, we played as best we could against our toughest opposition in our league. Well done girls. Training is on Wednesday; everyone is welcome.
