Fantasy Football Week 8 Round-up

By 11 November 2020June 2nd, 2021No Comments

Gameweek 8 gave us some fantastic games and results this weekend, but that will not be the case next weekend with Gameweek 9 commencing on 21st November after a two week break for international football. This break will give managers the opportunity to assess their squad selections and make the relevant changes if needed to propel them up the table. The top two positions remained the same with Harvey Kenny (9S1) and Josh Marsh (8S) in second and first place respectively. Josh has established a 9 point lead over Harvey at the top of the league, with only 24 points separating Mr Baldwin in 7th place with Josh in 1st.

The high scorer of the week is Muhammad Adil Bagas (7P1) who scored an impressive 86 points this previous week, earning himself a place on our new Fantasy Football notice board located down in PE.

Something which may interest managers is that Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out for four weeks with an injury, meaning that he is likely to miss the next two games when the Premier league returns on 21st November. Trent Alexander-Arnold is the most expensive defender in the whole of FPL, so managers will have no problem in finding his replacement.

A special mention to Mrs Solomons (366 points) who has a 12 point advantage over Mr Baldwin (354 points) in the staff FPL league, Mrs Solomons has been very consistent in scoring this season and she will be hoping this may long continue!

Try to enjoy the international break, keep your eyes peeled on @SharplesPE on Twitter for more updates!
