Sharples School has received this letter (pictured above) from Sir Warren Smith, the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, this week. It congratulates the school on our continued commitment to the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Even in the face of a difficult year Mr Davies and his team have continually shown a commitment to delivering the best for our students at Sharples.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme offers students so many opportunities to develop their resilience and leadership skills as well as supporting them in working with our community. It is great for our students and staff to be recognised in this way, well done to Mr Davies and all those who have helped provide the best we can for our students during difficult times.
