Three of our very brave and courageous Year 7 pupils took part in their first regional debating competition. As part of their Sharples Baccalaureate, Owen Dawson (7P1), Aaisha Patel and Leah Hari (7H) have been attending Debate Club every week. Over the past 6 weeks, they have been planning, writing and preparing a speech to deliver. The competition was tough and our Sharples stars gave a conscientious and thought-provoking speech about Euthanasia; the judges were very impressed! Despite not being regional winners, they’re definitely winners in our eyes! Well done to our Year 7s and thank you to parents and staff who attended!
