On Wednesday, Key Stage 3 boys travelled to Ladybridge for their final football fixture before the Easter break. A combined Year 7 and 8 team dominated the first half and, as a reward, took a 1-0 lead into half time. The second half was end to end and, in the dying moments, Ladybridge managed to sneak a goal in order to earn a 1-1 draw.
Year 9 lacked a natural goalkeeper meaning the boys had to rotate the position. They faced a tough opposing team and, despite a positive work ethic, they were unfortunately beaten.
