Youth Speak Competition

By 8 February 2019June 2nd, 2021No Comments

On Wednesday, Sharples School held one of the heats for the Rotary Club Youth Speaks Competition. A brilliant event attended by many of the local schools, we watched pupils discuss complex and insightful ideas. The team from Sharples consisted of Poppi, Erica and Khadijah who were fantastic and great ambassadors for the school – well done girls! There were many Year 10 students who willingly gave up their time to help prepare for the event and speak to the visitors who commended our pupils on their positivity and their polite and helpful manner; they were a credit to the school. All pupils involved have been invited to sign the Sharples’ Book of Honour to celebrate their achievements. A big thank you to Mrs Smith and Miss Amdavadi for hosting the competition; they look forward to hosting it again next year.
