It has been an exciting 2 weeks for our Year 10 Sports Studies students with 2 trips to Windermere as part of their coursework in the Outdoor Adventure Activity unit. 79 students completed a hill walk up Gummer’s How and then paddle boarding and kayaking in Lake Windermere. The hill walk was a real challenge but all students completed the trek and showed great resilience throughout the day. It is fair to say that students were blown away by the breathtaking views at the top of the hill. It was fantastic to see students developing new skills and working together on the activities in what was an action packed day for them.
