The Maths department had a fantastic time on Tuesday celebrating World Book Day! As well as participating in the whole school ‘Door Dress Up’ there were some brilliant ‘Maths in Books’ themed lessons being delivered across the department. Life of Pi was a popular choice – students explored the importance of pi in mathematics whilst discovering the link with the story.
