This week, Sharples School took all Year 10 pupils to The National Apprenticeship Roadshow at Bolton Arena where pupils met with and spoke to an excellent array of apprenticeship providers. With over 70 employers and training providers offering all levels of courses, this was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to speak on a one-to-one basis with providers that were of interest to them. They visited various different stands and received first-hand information on post-16 career routes, jobs, entry requirements, application deadline dates and even made links for work experience. A fantastic and informative time was had by all as the pupils left feeling determined and ready to make an informed decision regarding their future.
