Stratford – upon – Avon Trip 2018

By 20 July 2018June 2nd, 2021No Comments

On Thursday, Mr Hesford and Mrs Smith took 30 Year 9 students to the home of William Shakespeare: Stratford – upon – Avon.

When we first arrived, our first destination was the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. The students found it fascinating to learn about the life of William Shakespeare.

After that, we had a spot of lunch in the sunshine.

After our lunch, we then went to the RSC and thoroughly enjoyed ‘The Play’s the Thing’ interactive exhibition.

This activity was followed by a stroll down the River Avon to Shakespeare’s grave.

We then enjoyed an ice-cream in the sun before finally heading home.

A great day was had by all – here’s to our Stratford – upon – Avon trip 2019!
