By 8 March 2019June 2nd, 2021No Comments

On Thursday, the KS3 Girls Football team travelled to Westhoughton High School for the annual Girls’ Football event. The weather was poor although that didn’t dampen the spirits of the Sharples team. 10 schools took part with Sharples being placed in a group with Westhoughton, St. Joseph’s and Rivington and Blackrod. There was some great team performances particularly in the final game against Rivington which ended goalless. ‘Player of the Tournament’ was Charlotte Robinson with some fantastic efforts in attack. All students had a thoroughly enjoyable time and represented the school in the highest manner.
