It has been a memorable week for the PE department and students with the introduction of the new 3G astro turf. Students have really enjoyed the superb facility, playing football and rugby on it all week. The department and students are extremely fortunate to have such a superb facility. The astro turf isn’t the only thing that is new as the upstairs gymnasium has a newly laid floor and air conditioning.
Attendance to extra-curricular clubs has been fantastic all week at both lunchtime and after school. Pupils have been coming back every night for football, the fitness suite, swimming and boxing. Next week, the PE department will be taking 2 groups of students to Amir Khan’s Boxing Academy as a reward for their commitment to the sessions that have been running at the school.
