On Monday 8th July the 3rd annual Sharples Sports Presentation Evening was held. Guests included former pupil Danny Swailes as well as the two previous winners of Sharples Sports Personality of the Year, Mollie Nuttall and Megan Taylor.
Numerous awards were presented to pupils in recognition of an excellent year of sports at the school. A performance was given by our KS4 Pom Dance Cheerleading squad, the reigning National Champions.
The six nominees for Sports Personailty of the Year nervously awaited the outcome of the vote which was won by Ellie Taylor, twin sister to last year’s winner Megan.
