On Wednesday, Miss Dann and Miss Molyneux took a group of Year 10 students to Bolton School to see Simon Armitage (one of the GCSE poets) and read a selection of his poetry. In the Q&A session afterwards, the students were able to ask him some questions about his poems and the writing process. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about poetry and to gain a further insight into Armitage’s work.
