Sharples School Raises Huge Total for DEC Philippines Typhoon Appeal.
A massive thank you is due to pupils, staff and the local community for helping to raise the incredible amount of £1000 to provide emergency aid to those affected by the disaster. Proceeds from the Festive Market held in November, a non-uniform day in December and the savings generated by sending electronic, rather than printed Xmas cards this year, all contributed to the fantastic total. This latest achievement is another wonderful example of the thoughtful and caring attitude shown by pupils in creating ideas to support good causes throughout the year.
