This week in science, Year 8 students have been investigating how the shape, rotor length and material properties of helicopters can affect their ability to fly. They used investigative skills and the scientific method in order to discover the most effective design for a helicopter.
Year 10 students have been investigating how temperature can affect the rate of diffusion. They used skittles to demonstrate how quickly the colours would spread at different temperatures of water, with very colourful and beautiful results.
