Science Enrichment – Graphene Lecture

On Wednesday afternoon, our top set Year 9 and 10 Science students attended a virtual lecture from the University of Manchester, National Graphene Institute. They explored the Nobel Prize winning discovery of this 2D structure, only one atom of carbon thick, the thinnest material in the world, as well as its many real-world applications, including high strength folding touch screen technology and sportswear.
