Liver Surgeon
On Friday afternoon, our top set Year 10 (left) and 11 (right) students attended an aspirational talk by Dr Keith Roberts, consultant liver transplant surgeon at the University of Birmingham. Dr Roberts completed his training in liver and pancreas surgery and diseases at Birmingham and Leeds, with a PhD in the role of iron in carcinogenesis (cancer formation). The talk was an inspirational insight into a career in the medical industry.
