We had two full teams against Rivington and Blackrod school this Tuesday. Twenty-two of our girls played some fantastic flat bat rounders. Last week’s match, against Turton, was the first fixture we’ve played in flat bat and, if we’re honest, we found it tough! As a team, we put in some extra practice (and a lot of determination) we played really well this week. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to win but the games were extremely close. The girls had a great time and really enjoyed the fixture. The two players of the games were Crystal Sandiford and Tabitha Shuttleworth. We are playing next week against St. Joseph’s – good luck to all of our girls!
