This week, the members of our Rotary Interact Club took part in a mini triathlon after school to raise money for life straws. This life-saving piece of equipment can filter dirty water for a single user to ensure that they are not drinking any dirt or bacteria. Each straw costs approximately 1 pound and our members completed 10 minutes cycling, 10 minutes running and 10 lengths of the swimming pool whilst being sponsored for their efforts. A huge well done to Paul and Jean (from Bolton Le Moors Rotary Club) who joined our youngsters and took part too.

We look forward to the final total being announced!
