Congratulations to Cherie Ufuoma in Year 8 who has recently competed in an athletics competition at Longford Park where she achieved some outstanding results. Competing in the 100m and 200m for her age group (U15), Cherie managed to achieve joint 2nd place in the 100m and 5th place in the 200m. This places Cherie in the top 5 for her age group in the UK. This is an incredible achievement by Cherie who has shown great dedication and enthusiasm as she also trains with Manchester Thunder Netball Club on a regular basis. Cherie will next compete at the Greater Manchester Schools Championships where she hopes to then qualify for the English Schools. Amazing achievement, Cherie!
