Well done to all those who have competed in this week’s ‘Beat the Teacher’ challenge which was to hold a wall sit for as long as possible! Special mention must go to Muhammed Chhadat (Year 7) who managed an impressive time of just over 4 minutes and Joseph Musekiwa (Year 7) who held his position for just over 5 minutes! Mr Parkinson managed a ‘record breaking’ 10 minutes! The series will be continuing up until Easter so it is all to play for!
As part of World Book Day, students have been taking part in some ‘Hunger Games’ themed workouts during their PE lessons this week! Pupils have been attempting to train like Katniss and Peeta and we have been very impressed with everyone’s enthusiasm and effort! Special mention must go to Khajidah Patel (Year 8) and Jack Riding (Year 9) who completed the workouts brilliantly (see pictures above)!
