First Aid

The school has an onsite Educational Health Care Worker and First Aid Lead, who provides First Aid when required.

First aid is “the immediate care provided to someone who is injured or suddenly unwell, aiming to preserve life and prevent further harm until professional medical help arrives”.

A Pastoral Who’s Who of Sharples School:

Our Reception Team:  

This team of staff will greet you at the main entrance to school and answer the telephone when you contact us on 01204 333 253.
This team can help sign pupils into school after appointments, accept forgotten items for passing onto your child e.g. PE kit, as well as passing on urgent messages.
Our telephone lines are very busy during the school day. We ask that parents only ring reception for urgent matters.

Our Year Coordinators:  

This team of staff has overall responsibility for the welfare and care for a year group of students.
All Year Coordinators have Enhanced Safeguarding Training and are qualified Safeguarding Leads. They also monitor attendance and behaviour.
