A huge well done and thank you to our sports leaders who helped deliver the Panathlon Boccia tournament at Bolton Arena on Thursday. Since the start of September, a number of girls have had the opportunity to develop their leadership qualities by attending ‘Game On’ club every week. On Wednesday, 16 girls had a specialised training session in preparation for them to lead and officiate at the Panathlon Boccia tournament. This organisation provides competitive sporting opportunities to children with disabilities and special educational needs, enabling participants from across the county to compete and socialise with other young people they can relate to. The girls thoroughly enjoyed helping lead the tournament and it was brilliant to see their leadership qualities on display. Organisers of the tournament commented on how they were a credit to the school. A huge well done, girls!
