Last week, Megan Heyes (Y10) travelled to the Olympic Park, as a member of the U16 Boltons to take part in a tournament for regional teams throughout the country.
After convincing victories over Stoke (4-0), Notts County (4-0), Swansea (2-0) and Wigan (2-0), Megan and her teammates lined up against Wigan in the final. During the final, Megan displayed all her defensive prowess and helped Bolton U16 Hockey team to be crowned ‘National Champions’, winning 4-2.
