On Thursday, of this week, our Year 10 GCSE RS students travelled to Liverpool to get an inside view of the religions that they study. First on the agenda were the Christian cathedrals – both Anglican and Catholic. In the afternoon, they visited the first mosque in Britain. Both visits were led by a well respected guide who linked the places of worship to aspects of the GCSE curriculum.
The day ended with a visit to Archie’s Diner for burger and chips!
Thanks to Mrs Patel for organising the trip!
