International Sharples Skater

By 27 September 2018June 2nd, 2021No Comments

At the weekend, Year 8 student Lucinda Galloway travelled to Holland to take part in the international Roller Skating competition “Interland”.

On Thursday evening, Lucinda suffered a nasty fall in training and it was later discovered that she had broken a bone in her wrist.

However, that didn’t stop Lucinda taking part and competed through the pain.

The courage and determination that Lucinda showed was amazing and we are very proud of her.

Well done Lucinda for representing your country and Sharples School!
