This week saw Saturn house presented with the first Inter-House shield, confirming them as Inter-House Bake Off Champions. On an evening that saw all 4 houses sweat over their stoves, it was Saturn who were triumphant. Defeating Mercury house, Saturn won by one point.
Leading up to the competition, the four houses took it in turns to bake cakes and sell at school. Over the four days, the houses raised £701.32p for ‘Movember’. This was a fantastic achievement and well done to all students, staff and parents/guardians who supported the event.
Congratulations to the ‘school leaders’ of all four houses, Jupiter, Mercury, Saturn and Venus who were magnificent in supporting the event and for raising awareness amongst our students and staff.
The winning team were: Mrs C. Atherton; Nizamuddin Patel (Year 11); Aiman Ibrahim (Year 11); Alia Boda (Year 11) and Ayesha Nagori (Year 8).
