Congratulations to Cherie Ufuoma (Year 8), Harvey Kenny (Year 9) and Phil Ufuoma (Year 10) who all competed at the Greater Manchester Schools Athletics Championships on Saturday. Harvey managed to achieve a personal best time in the 800m with Phil also achieving a personal best distance in the triple jump. After Cherie’s performance on Saturday, in addition to the other races she has competed in this year, it is hopeful that she will qualify for the English Schools Championships next month.
This is an amazing achievement by all 3 students who represented the borough brilliantly!
