Last Thursday we held our first monthly lecture of the year as part of the Sharples Good 2 Great Programme.
Former Sharples student Kyle Cambray came along to talk about his career since leaving us which has included a role alongside Sheridan Smith in the ITV drama “Cilla”, small parts in Coronation Street and now as a tutor of Performing Arts at Bolton College. Kyle talked about the tough business of acting but that the key to success is to be resilient and never give up on your dreams.
A packed audience of Year 7 to 11 students listened to his story and enjoyed watching some of his projects and roles over the years.
Kyle has offered to come back to Sharples to work with some of our GCSE students in the future! A huge thanks to Kyle who has certainly done Sharples proud as a former student!
