On Monday, Miss Molyneux and Miss Amdavadi took a Year 9 and Year 10 G2G students to Bolton School to listen to a talk given by the co-founder of Green & Black’s chocolate, Jo Fairley. Jo talked about how her dream came to life, the stages she went through to get to the product we see on the shelves today and the lessons she learned along the way. It was a brilliant and inspiring speech, telling our pupils to believe in themselves, follow their dreams and to persevere.

Our pupils were thoroughly engaged and asked many questions at the end resulting in Leon Haslam winning £50 worth of Green & Black’s chocolate for asking one of the best questions that evening.
