Last night, a selection of Year 9 students – who are on our Good to Great programme – went on a trip to The Lowry Theatre to watch a performance of Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner. The performance was simply breathtaking and it deepened the students’ knowledge and understanding of the text. In addition to this, other spectators commented on the conduct of our students too stating “Your students are so polite!”. They were a credit to Sharples and fun was had by all! Mrs N Smith would also like to add a “Thank you!” to Mr and Mrs Chamberlain for supporting the trip.
