Electric Maths STEM Club

At this week’s Maths STEM club, pupils were investigating electronic gadgets that can be integrated into clothing. They incorporated a tiny piece of ‘Quantum tunnelling composite’ within a textile, which responded to finger pressure by varying the amount of electrical current reaching a light bulb. In addition to lighting and heating, pupils considered what other uses the technology might have – one interesting idea being clothing that massages!
