The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award starts at Sharples School for Year 10 students this month. Year 10 students will be introduced to the DofE Award Scheme in assembly next week and will have the chance to sign up to express interest. There will be a meeting for students in the first week of October to find out more and there will be a short application process to take part in.
The DofE will be a brilliant opportunity for our students to take part in new activities, learn new skills and contribute to their communities. They will be developing their own independence, resilience and teamwork skills.
