Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme starts at Sharples School

Sharples School officially received its licence this week as a Duke of Edinburgh Award Centre. Pam Sleigh from the DofE present the school’s licence certificate to Ivor Davies, who is setting up the award at the school. Year 10 students at Sharples will have the opportunity to take part in the Bronze Award programme this year. Full details on the opportunity, including how to apply, will be available this month to students and parents/carers via assembly, letter, twitter and the school’s newsletter and website.
