On Tuesday, Miss Atherton took 8 of our Year 9 pupils to The University of Salford for their Destination Rail Event. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about the wide depth of careers available in the rail sector. Students were mentored by industry experts, whilst they took park in workshops, before completing a STEM challenge and presenting their solutions to a panel of judges. It was an engaging and informative day allowing students to gain a further idea on the various Post-16 options available to them.
